LUXE: opening of Boutique 1

I absolutely love the store Boutique 1, it is the store that brings together so many electic brands. Keeping its branding structure extremely simple, Boutique 1 focuses on getting Brands that are unique and appealing to its wider audience.

Boutique 1 Knightsbridge

Creating a concept store like no other Boutique 1 originally for the Middle East market has landed on UK territory. I have loved shopping at Boutique 1 whilst in Dubai as it provides all the luxury brands and has an extensive range of Missoni, Alaia and Victoria Beckham. The fittings and appeal of boutique 1 is very simple and classic. Once I get to Dubai I always go to the Boutique 1 website to get the Missoni rompers and the matching hairbands. I also love the fact they have an extensive range of Victoria Beckham sunglasses. Perfect after 7 hours on a plane with a little one.

The new store on Sloane street captures the owners Lena and Ziad Matta vision perfectly. This week I was cordially invited to the celebration marking the opening of the Boutique 1 store in Sloane Street, Knightsbridge. The store was transformed into a 70’s discotheque studio 54 party. It featured the most amazing DJ, Lou Hayter who DJ straight for 4 hours the most amazing mix of 1970’s right through to current music. The bar had the most amazing waiters serving the most amazing elederflower tonic water and cucumber soda (so nice) and waiters in all black serving a variety of the tatstiest food including mini truffle cheese toasties, lobster burgers and fish & chips.

The Mattas vision saw a huge gap in the Dubai retail market. Boutique 1 is the ultimate fashion and lifestyle destination in the Middle East, housing some of the world’s most coveted designers from around the globe. Boutique 1 brand is renowned for personalised service, exclusivity & luxury, and also for its pioneering spirit. The brand was launched in 2003 as the UAE’s first high fashion multi-brand concept.

The Mattas have conceptualised middle eastern shopping culture both online and instore. The brand Boutique 1 offers a very personalised experience. Ziad Matta states that “From the beginning we began with the categories of beauty, books and homeware because we noticed a gap in what was being offered,” says Matta. “It all fits nicely together now. We are passionate about the brands we carry and we want to transmit our enthusiasm to our customers so that they too can create outfits that they will wear and cherish”.

Each and every store attracts the most discerning shopper, thanks to the unique and edited collections from world renowned designers, many of which are exclusive to Boutique 1.

Separating the men’s and women’s section is an architectural fin: showcasing a dark rich palette for menswear and a light luxurious ambience for women. In addition to fashion and beauty, home accessories and books are also on offer to combine culture and design within one luxurious environment. The e concept, the store covers over 1,000 square meters and presents fashion, beauty, home accessories and a book section.
