If you really want to experience a different kind of london it’s worth coming to Chelsea harbour. It is like the equivalent of Monaco or Côte d’Azur in miniature.
There is a hotel and an amazing design centre. I walk around the harbour with my son and will go to the hotel for a spot of lunch at the restaurant that serves amazing fish n grilled foods during the summer. Have an afternoon tea on the balcony.
The harbour is surrounded by 5 blocks that feature waterfront apartments. The belvedere (the highest one), Thames key, kings quay, chelsea crescent,
and Carlyle court (the cream one).
For shopping there is not yet amenities, but the experience alone is worth it.
